Ubisoft’s E3 press conference kicked off with Q Entertainment’s Tetsuya Mizuguchi wearing a swanky pair of white gloves while he worked it on stage with his new Kinect-centric game, Child of Eden. Basically, it was amazing. Hopefully we’ll get some direct-feed footage of it soon, but until then, enjoy the super blurry attached screenshots.

Child of Eden, as you may expect, is a lot like Rez. It’s also the first Kinect game to really have me interested — and believing — in the device’s potential. Unlike Rez, you, directly, are the driving force in the game. You’re still shooting insane shapes and objects, only this time you’re using actual motions to do so.

I didn’t know what was happening during 95 percent of the presentation. Even still, I absolutely loved every last minute of it.
