Maybe you were a fan of the powerful fantasy score to Dragon’s Dogma. It featured Japanese composers Tadayoshi Makino and Rei Kondoh alongside Western composer Inon Zur. If the original soundtrack was your thing, then Square Enix (yes, Square Enix published the soundtrack, interestingly enough) has just the thing for you: the Dark Arisen Original Soundtrack.

Don’t let the name fool you though. While the first disc of the collection contains music from the Dark Arisen expansion, the second disc houses selected tracks from the first album along with unreleased tracks. The Dark Arisen two-disc hits Japan on April 24, 2013, and can be pre-ordered at CD Japan for $27 USD.

Did this East-meets-West experiment pay off? Do you have any favorite musical moments from the game?
