In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale was an epic the likes of which could only have been made by director Uwe Boll. And only under the watchful eye of such a visionary might lightning ever strike twice. Now, as if to confirm that the stars are aligned for a film which will shock the critics, Dolph Lundgren has stated definitively that he will appear in the recently announced Dungeon Siege film sequel.

Yes, the man who killed Apollo Creed and then went on to appear in every B-movie which needed an exceptionally large blonde guy sounds like just the thing the doctor ordered. Speaking to Screen Junkies, Lundgren says that the character he plays is, “an ex-middle ages war veteran who gets f*cked up but he gets pulled into some sort of medieval power struggle, kind of gets a bit of a redemption for all his pains in service.”

Sold. Tell me where to stand in line for tickets.
