It’s called New Journey+
It’s very common for many AAA games to get a New Game+ mode (read: the option to replay the game over again with, generally, the same stats/equipment/abilities) after the fact, via a post-launch patch. But we’re happy to report that isn’t the case with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as there’s a New Game+ mode available right away in the base game. Here’s how to access it and what it actually includes.
New Game+ unlocks automatically as a separate game mode, accessible in the main menu
After you’re done with the main story, the game will make a big deal about your “journey being complete,” and a giant multi-tab pop-up screen will appear (pictured above). You can’t miss it!
This is your cue that you’re now able to access New Game+ (New Journey+) mode from the main menu. While you can continue your current adventure and finish every rumor (sidequest) and go for every collectible, you also now have the option to quit your game entirely and start that new file.
Here is what New Game+ (NG+) actually unlocks in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Perk/gameplay toggles
- Purity (basically Heaven Or Hell from Devil May Cry, where you deal extra damage as well as all enemy types)
- Warrior (remixed enemy encounters tinted toward difficulty)
- Trendsetter (randomizes cosmetics on death)
New Lightsaber blades
- Red (usually reserved for dark side users)
- Party (multi-color)
Skill points and lightsaber stances
- Skill points are refunded and can be redistributed after loading the new file
- You have access to every lightsaber stance right away (read: weapon types)
Abilities will be reset
