Capcom ID required to activate this exosuit
The dinosaur swarm is finally here with the release of Exoprimal, but there’s a bit of confusion about what’s required to log in to the game. Unfortunately, Capcom has decided to integrate its own Capcom ID into the login system. As such, a Capcom ID is required to play Exoprimal.
Despite the annoyance, we have everything you need to know about the Capcom ID to get you into Exoprimal as quickly as possible.
How does a Capcom ID work?
Your Capcom ID is essentially a single unified account that links all of Capcom’s games and services. This account also links to whichever platform you are playing Exoprimal on. For example, if you are playing via Xbox Game Pass your Xbox account will have to be linked to your Capcom ID.
Creating a Capcom ID is free and you can do so right inside Exoprimal by launching the game (it even gives you a QR code to scan on the screen). You can also create a Capcom ID on their website. Once you’ve created a Capcom ID you then link your account from whichever platform you are playing on simply by logging into it.
Can you delink a Capcom ID?
No. Capcom has made it very clear that linking an account to your Capcom ID is irreversible. Be sure the account you are linking is with the Capcom ID you intend to use. You will not be able to link your Xbox, Playstation, Steam, or Windows account to another Capcom ID.
After setting up your Capcom ID you should be able to log into Exoprimal and jump right into the tutorial! Make sure you remember which accounts you linked to your Capcom ID so you don’t have any problems accessing other Capcom games that may also utilize this account.
