Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia was delayed into 2017, but according to a recent interview from Famitsu, it’s “99.9%” done. So just in case you wanted to jump into yet another Square Enix mobile Final Fantasy game, it looks like you won’t have to wait that much longer.

But even though it’s that close, they’re still targeting an “early 2017” release, with a date to be announced soon. Opera will feature voices for an all-star cast of sorts similar to World of Final Fantasy, where they’ll be recruited through campaign play. There’s going to be around 20 in all, and although it’s a mobile title that’s likely going to exploit some sort of microtransaction hare-brained scheme, there will not be a gashapon (capsule toy) random element to it like they’ve done in the past.

That’s the bar now — it’s low.
