Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Company of the Wolf quest guide

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll learn more about Maleficent’s curse on Flynn and its lingering effects. She cursed him into believing he was a wolf, and even now, he still experiences some wolfish habits, prompting his The Company of the Wolf quest to begin.

The Company of the Wolf quest walkthrough

Upon talking to Flynn Rider about his situation, he’ll tell you he feels an impulse to chase around the Frog Snippets that inhabit Everafter. You’ll volunteer to catch five to help him stifle this temptation slightly.

By now, you may have noticed some small green frogs hopping around the Wild Woods during previous quests. Much like Bird Snippets, you’ll use your Royal Net to catch these little guys. Frog Snippets spawn in the following locations:

• The Wild Woods
• Teapot Falls
• The Statue’s Shadow
• The Fallen Fortress
• The Beanstalk Marshes

The Wild Woods is the easiest spot to find them, but it’s entirely up to you which you pick. You can also create Slow Traps to make it easier, but you’re not required to for this quest.

Crafting a Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent

Once you catch all five, head to the Lorekeeper to talk about some permanent solutions to Flynn’s problem. They’ll suggest a Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent, requiring the following items:

• Star Sapphire
• Lamprey
• Petrified Wood (5)
• Volcanic Rock (10)
• Storybook Magic (500)

Each of these items is accessible in Everafter, with items like Petrified Wood and Volcanic Rock also found in Mythopia. You’re not required to open Mythopia biomes, though. Fishing, mining, and foraging in Everafter will get the job done quickly.

Once you have each item, head to any crafting station and make the Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent. You can now place it anywhere near Flynn’s house before returning to him and sharing the good news.

Finding Flynn’s buried items

Unfortunately, he remembers one other bad habit he developed: burying items. More specifically, other people’s belongings. Although they’re not too challenging to find, you’ll still need to do some searching and digging for each item. Below is everything you need to find:

• BnL Fishing Cooler
• Photo Album
• Picture Frame

Although this could’ve been an interesting problem-solving task of figuring out whose item is whose, the quest will tell you to return them to WALL-E, Mickey, and Mirabel.

With that out of the way, head into Flynn’s house to have another chitchat with him. Although he won’t fully reveal it, you quickly learn he’s yearning to talk to Rapunzel again and requires your help. You suggest getting Kristoff to speak to him about it, to which he reluctantly agrees. After a short chat with Kristoff, he’ll agree to help, allowing you to also offer Flynn some support.

While the two of them are chatting, your character will offer to help by cleaning the house. Once you do, you’ll talk with them both to learn where Flynn’s currently at with the situation. It’ll take time, but he’ll soon handle his unfinished business with Maleficent and be ready to reunite with Rapunzel.

Following this last conversation, you’ll officially wrap up the Company of the Wolf quest and gain some friendship points with Flynn.
