Season of Blood for Diablo 4 brings with it an all-new event in the form of Blood Harvest. Like any good new seasonal mechanic, this event has unique rewards and activities. What is the Blood Harvest event in Diablo 4 Season of Blood?
The Blood Harvest event is a new type of content added in Diablo 4 Season 2. The event is very similar to Helltides, in which you are tasked with killing enemies in a specific region while accruing a specific resource. Also like Helltides, there are unique activities you can complete for more rewards.
One of the best things about the Blood Harvest event is that you can start participating as soon as you create your character, right from Level 1. The Blood Harvest events will always scale to your level, so they are always worthwhile to do.
Where does the Blood Harvest event spawn?
The Blood Harvest event can be active in any region in Diablo 4 Season 2. Once one event ends, a new one will immediately start in a different region.
If you open your map you can look for an area with a green tint around it. That is where the Blood Harvest event is currently taking place.

When does the Blood Harvest event spawn?
Thankfully, Blizzard has decided to make the Blood Harvest event always active. Even though the zone is active in changes, it will always be available. That means that when the Blood Harvest ends in one zone, it will immediately begin anew in another.
When looking at a region the Blood Harvest event is currently active in, you can scroll over one of the Blood Harvest events to see how much longer the event is active there. Also, if you are in the current area where the Blood Harvest is taking place, a timer will be in the top right corner of your screen indicating how long the event will be there.
Is it worth doing Blood Harvest in Diablo 4 Season 2?
It is absolutely worth doing the Blood Harvest in Diablo 4 Season 2. Not only is it great Experience, but the new rewards you get for doing them are worthwhile as well. You will also obtain Seeker Keys and Poten Blood for doing Blood Harvest.
The Seeker Keys can be used to unlock Seeker Cache chests that will give you more rewards including gear. The Potent Blood is used to unlock and upgrade Vampiric Powers. These are crucial for optimizing your build this season.
