Time to bring your best looks to the Tower
It looks like Destiny 2 is getting a lookbook. Bungie revealed Threads of Light, an upcoming digital fashion magazine, on the Destiny 2 account today.
We don’t know too much about this right now, other than that Threads of Light is a digital fashion magazine that will celebrate the Destiny 2 community’s creativity and showcase “the best Guardian fashion styles.”
Something fancy is about to drop.

More is on the way about this, but am I down for a Met Gala on the Tower? Yeah, that sounds like a good time. I’ve been diving back down into the Destiny 2 pit with the latest season, and I’ve already got some sick threads and picture-perfect exotics to show off.
Also, I dig how this acknowledges what many folks who play long-running games, be it Destiny, Final Fantasy XIV, or even a MOBA have come to terms with: fashion plays a big part in keeping you in. I may not play as much Dota 2 as I used to, but one of my most prized digital goods is still my incredibly rare and awesome-looking crimson chestpiece for the mercurial Spectre.
As Guardians over on the DestinyFashion subreddit have been showing for quite some time, Destiny has got some looks. I’m down for whatever Bungie has in store for this digital exploration of style and creativity, and maybe it’ll give me a few ideas for my own sets as I keep power-levelling up. If you’re going to take on the forces of Xivu Arath, you should look good doing it.
