I sure do love a good scout rifle. It gives the feeling of a sniper rifle without the ammo restrictions. Destiny 2 has always been a leader in how fun it is to run and gun, and the new Red Tape Scout rifle is no different. Here are the rolls to chase during Revenant.

How to get Red Tape in Destiny 2

This Stasis scout rifle can be acquired in a few ways. The first is via the new Revenant-specific Onslaught runs, accessed through The Last City. The second is to pop one of Eido’s potions, which gives a chance to award the Revenant weapons after completing any activity. The third and final method is by earning rank-up rewards from Eido herself. Equipping the Revenant seasonal gear expedites this as it buffs rep gain.

PvE God Roll

This roll is all about turning groups of enemies into explosive bits of icy shrapnel. Headstone and Rimestealer will make short work of weaker foes while also bringing stronger enemies to a standstill. Throw in some Frost Armor and additional buffs from the seasonal artifact and Red Tape won’t be leaving your seasonal rotation anytime soon.

• Arrowhead Brake: Increases Recoil Control by +30 and Handling by +10.
• Accurized Rounds: Increases Range by +10.
• Rimestealer: Destroying a Stasis crystal or defeating a frozen target with Red Tape grants you Frost Armor.
• Headstone: Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.
• Masterworked Range: Increases Range by +10.

PvP God Roll

Scout rifles have largely enjoyed a top spot in the PvP meta since the beginning. Their range, accuracy, and overall ability to quickly end someone from a distance are tough to compete with. Red Tape is no different thanks to perks that make you deadlier at a distance.

• Accurized Rounds: Increases Range by +10.
• Keep Away: Increases Reload Speed, Range, and Accuracy when no enemies are within 15 meters.
• Adrenaline Junkie: Red Tape gains increased Damage and Handling from final blows with it or grenades.
• Masterworked Range: Increases Range by +10.
