The PS4 port of Izanagi Games’ FMV murder mystery Death Come True will not meet its originally scheduled October 15 release date, and will now launch at an unspecified point in the future.

Speaking on Twitter, Izanagi Games noted that last-minute fixes made to the title have caused delays in Sony’s QA classification procedure, thus pushing back the port’s launch window.

“Due to an issue flagged up requiring a fix after passing the QA test, we are postponing the release,” reads the tweet. “We offer our heartfelt apologies to everyone. We will provide an update when a new release date is confirmed.”

Death Come True is a reality-bending thriller that follows the nightmarish adventures of an amnesiac young man trapped in a time loop. Awakening in an opulent but mostly empty hotel, our hero is tasked with recalling the truth behind his identity, clearing his name from a series of grim murders, and staying one step ahead of a terrifying hooded killer. Death Come True is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms. It will launch on PS4 at some point in the future.
