Stabbing a zombie in the face with a knife that explodes is fun, but it’s a lot more fun when there are three other people stabbing zombies with knives that explode. This new trailer focuses on the co-op aspect of Dead Island, and it’s pretty cool.
I played the co-op at E3 and was suitably impressed. I’m crossing my fingers that the final product will be a good laugh, and maybe even a little scary. Techland’s done a great job of making each zombie intimidating, which is something most games don’t do these days.
We could do with zombies being a credible threat rather than a mere annoyance.
