Dave the Diver hits Switch in October, demo out today

Indie smash hit Dave the Diver is coming to Nintendo Switch, announced via the September 2023 Direct today. Previously out on PC on June 28 of this year, Nintendo noted that this will be a “first for console” release for Switch, launching on October 26, 2023.

Amazingly, a demo is out today! This is the perfect game for a demo, as you’ll likely get sucked in and pre-order it right away. It’ll be $19.99, just like the PC release.

Here are a few more details from developer Mintrocket: “Those who pre-order the game ahead of release will receive a bonus skin for Dave’s boat, plus an exclusive lamp decoration for the sushi restaurant. The skin adds a nostalgic 8-bit-themed design along the boat’s hull, while the lamp depicts Dave in this charming retro style!”
