Yuichiro Saito, producer of the popular Danganronpa series, has announced his resignation from developing studio Spike Chunsoft.

An initial tweet announced his termination with the company as of the end of October, but has since been replaced with a much cuter tweet, in which Saito, also know by the moniker Shirokuro P, is seen celebrating at a surprise farewell bash held by his fellow Spike colleagues. Saito was adorned in a Doraemon onesie, given as a goodbye gift.

Saito mentions that he hopes to see the psychedelic mystery series continue to grow without him as well as somewhat confirming that he is leaving to produce console games elsewhere, or, as he puts it, in a “new world.”

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is available now on PS4, PC Vita and PC.
