Concord is a PvP hero shooter that aims to blend the high-octane action of games like Valorant with narrative elements that see players learn more about the game’s universe with every match they play. However, some feel it might be a bit late to the party, which is why it’s worth trying out ahead of its launch.
The release date for Concord isn’t until August 23, 2024, but there are two betas you can get in on ahead of that. These are the Early Access Beta for fans who have pre-ordered the game and the Open Beta, which is available to everyone who fancies giving this new hero shooter a spin. This type of game can end up demanding dozens of hours of your time, which is why it’s always worth giving them a go when betas pop up.
Concord Early Access Beta preload and start times
The Concord Early Access Beta is only available to those who have pre-ordered any version of the game. If that’s you, then you can preload the beta from July 11, 2024. The Early Access Beta goes live at the following times worldwide and lasts from July 12, 2024, to July 14, 2024.
- Seattle: 10 AM PT on July 12, 2024
- New York: 1 PM EDT on July 12, 2024
- Sao Paulo: 2 AM BRT on July 12, 2024
- London: 6 AM BST on July 12, 2024
- Berlin: 7 PM CEST on July 12, 2024
- Seoul: 2 AM MST on July 13, 2024
- Tokyo: 2 AM JST on July 13, 2024
- Sydney: 3 AM AEST on July 13, 2024
This beta will feature all 16 characters for you to play as and get a feel for, as well as three game modes and four maps to play them across. This is a huge chunk of what will be available in the game at launch, and having the opportunity to try out all the characters this early will let you figure out who your main is going to be.
Concord Open Beta preload and start times
At the time of writing, all we know is that the Open Beta for Concord will take place between July 18, 2024, and July 21, 2024. The exact times and preload information will undoubtedly be shared closer to the time. This beta includes everything from the Early Access Beta but will also feature a new game mode and map for fans to dive into.
All beta rewards for Concord
Progress made between the Early Access Beta for Concord and the Open Beta will carry over between weekends. However, none of that progress will carry through to the full release. What you can get in the final release version of Concord for your efforts are beta rewards.
You can get the Lil’ Frog Weapon Charm and the Star Flare Business Card for playing either the Early Access Beta or the Open Beta. These are only tiny cosmetics in the grand scheme of things, but they’re exclusive and won’t be available to anyone once the game is out in August. For me, that makes them the best cosmetics in the game to date, and I’ll be showing them off on launch day.
