In fact, the developers are aiming to ensure that the core experience truly differs from Madden’s, and that recent deep dive, a detailed overview demonstrated how some of its features will shape up. Let’s take a look at all the highlights and what players can expect.

What is College Football 25 Ultimate Team?

Ultimate Team across all EA Sports franchises represents a fantasy mode, and it won’t be any different with College Football 25. You will be able to build your dream team with different cards, and there are many ways to earn them. New cards will be available as part of different programs, which can be unlocked by completing objectives, challenges, and opening packs.

College Football 25 Ultimate Team chemistry

Chemistry in College Football 25 Ultimate Team will be slightly different than how it operates in other titles like EA FC 24. First, there’s Scheme Chemistry, which will provide a rise in attributes based on cards that match an active scheme. If your cards match a particular scheme, they will get boosts in their stats. The stats will rise further as you complete more Scheme Chemistry requirements.

There’s also team chemistry and every player will have access to all the schools. However, Team Chemistry tiers can also be raised, which will boost card stats belonging to that particular school. Additionally, unlocking Team chem bucket will allow you replace the current Team Chem on a selected card with one of your liking.

College Football 25 Ultimate Team programs

EA Sports has revealed a few programs that are going to appear on Ultimate Team.

  • Ultimate Alumni – Top players from previous college entries will be featured in this program, which will be released in Season 1.
  • Conference Stories of the Week
  • ICYMI – In Case of You Missed It will be a history-themed program highlighting players and moments from the last decade of college football.
  • Legends – Legendary All-American cards are set to be made available in launch week.

While the lineup of programs looks pretty exciting, more will appear throughout the year as EA Sports keeps introducing special cards that allow you to build your team with your favorite cards.

There will be plenty of different ways to get cards.

  • Field Pass
  • Live Events
  • Challenges and objectives
  • Sets

The first impressions of College Football 25 Ultimate Team appear to be positive, but it’s best to wait for the full experience when the game goes live on July 19.
