Clorinde’s Ascension materials in Genshin Impact

As an on-field DPS in Genshin Impact, Clorinde should be Ascended to level 90 to be most effective in her ideal team builds. Here’s a list of everything you’ll need to ascend Clorinde, as well as where to find items like Lumitoile and Pearl Seahorses.

Clorinde makes her debut in Genshin Impact on June 5. She will be one of the featured rate-up 5-star characters along with Alhaitham.

Character Ascension, requirements for Clorinde

Fontemer Unihorn – Millennial Pearl Seahorse

Clorinde uses Fontemer Unihorns as her world boss material. These drop from the Millennial Pearl Seahorse in upper Fontaine. You can access its arena via an underwater cave entrance to the west. Bring Pyro, Cryo, or Dendro characters to hit the pearls and stun the boss.

You will need 46 Unihorns to reach level 90. This translates to around 18 boss fights at World Level 8, spending about 720 Resin.

Lumitoile

Like Neuvillette, Clorinde uses Lumitoiles as her local specialties. These blue sea stars can be found underwater and on the beaches of Fontaine.

Clorinde needs 168 Lumitoiles to reach max Ascension. Like other local specialties, Lumitoiles respawn 48 hours after collecting them. Since there are only 79 Lumitoiles in the open world, you may need to either wait for them to respawn or ask a friend if you can raid their world.

Fontemer Aberrant materials

Clorinde’s common enemy materials drop from Fontermer Aberrants. These are the colorful sea creatures that populate the oceans of Fontaine. They may be cute, but Clorinde demands their blood.

You will need to farm a total of 18 Transoceanic Pearls, 30 Transoceanic Chunks, and 36 Xenochromatic Crystals for Clorinde. These figures don’t include materials needed for Clorinde’s Talents.

Vajrada Amethysts

As an Electro character, Clorinde uses purple Vajrada Amethysts for her character Ascension. Her world boss, the Millennial Pearl Seahorse, exclusively drops Vajrada Amethysts. If you are still short on gems after farming her world boss, you can convert some from another element using Dust of Azoth at an alchemy bench.

In total, Clorinde will need 1 Vajrada Amethyst Sliver, 9 Fragments, 9 Chunks, and 6 Gemstones.

Talent Levels

Justice Books

Clorinde’s Talents use Justice books to level up. These can be obtained from the Fontaine Talent domain on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

To raise all three of Clorinde’s Talents to level 10, she will need 9 brown books, 63 silver books, and 114 gold books. This will mean spending around 2,480 Resin if starting from scratch.

Fontemer Aberrant materials

Fontemer Aberrants can be found throughout the underwater areas of Fontaine. Pick any underwater spot, and chances are, you’ll find Fontemer Aberrants nearby.

To fully level Clorinde’s Talents, you’ll need 18 Transoceanic Pearls, 66 Transoceanic Chunks, and 93 Xenochromatic Crystals.

Everamber – Guardian of Apep’s Oasis

Clorinde’s weekly boss material is Everamber, which drops from the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis. The boss domain is unlocked by completing the second chapter of Nahida’s Story Quests. If you haven’t done the quest, though, you can still farm your materials by quick-starting the challenge through the Adventurer’s Handbook.

Clorinde will need a total of 18 Everambers. Since you can only fight the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis once a week, you should expect around 8 weeks of farming.
