Ubisoft has announced that the latest content update for their strategic online shooter Rainbow Six Siege is now live in the game’s PC test servers. Operation Wind Bastion, like Siege’s previous seasons, brings new operators and locales to the twitchy, heart-stopping title.

As previously revealed, Operation Wind Bastion takes place in Morocco, bringing two homespun technicians into the fold. Defender Kaid is a mature gent who brings both years of expertise and his deployable Rtila Electroclaw, capable of giving a shocking charge to metallic objects such as shields, razor-wire and wall reinforcements

Attacker Nomad is a technically-minded young woman whose concussive rounds can literally send the opposition flying. This air-bending weapon is perfect for clearing out ambushes, forcing people out of cover, or prepping a location for a fast and deadly breach.

The new map, ready for your door-staring, wall-punching needs is Fortress, a mudbrick kasbah set in southern Morocco. This multi-floor training facility features an accessible roof ,for those who like to drop in unannounced, some ideal perches for sniper-fans, as well as a layout custom-designed for flanking Attackers.

Ubisoft will keep watch over Operation Wind Bastion on the test servers and are encouraging players to pipe up with any issues or complaints they may have about the new content. Once satisfied that everything is in working order and that the balance is in check, Operation Wind Bastion will be rolled out on the main servers across all formats.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
