The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map can be tough for some. There’s a mix of short-ranged and long-ranged situations you’ll need to be ready for.

Great sniping locations on Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map

To do well on the Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map, you’ll have to make sure you keep moving, depending on where the enemy team is spawning. If you’re sniping, try not to stay in one place at once. I’ll go over some of the best spots right now.

The first is near the washrooms in the Lower Lounge. You’ll see a ladder to the right of it. Climb it. Break through the glass, and you have an outstanding sniping spot. Use the ventilation as cover, and you can take out foes leaving the airplane or soldiers running down the long hallway with the gift shop.

You can also take a glance over at the C point where the burger restaurant is. Keep rotating between these three spots to keep your foes guessing.

The second spot is actually in the Burger Town restaurant. You can use the desk as cover, looking out at the C point. You can also be a bit cheeky and go inside the restaurant. Climb on top of the stove (which is burning but somehow not hurting your character). You now have a great look at the dining and shopping areas of the map. You’re somewhat covered by the metal shelving as well, making it more difficult to see you.

The last spot I’d recommend is the Kastovia Airlines desk opposite the fashion store Cyclosa. It’s right next to the C flag and looks into the hallway that leads to the airplane. Many will go in and out of this spot.

What would be the best loadout?

If you want to snipe on this map, I’d recommend the Crimson Fate Longbow and the semi-automatic Renetti pistol. The Longbow is fairly snappy, and I’ve been able to get some close-up kills with it somehow. The Renetti is a reliable pistol that’s perfect for short-ranged situations as it has a three-burst set up.

If you’re hoping to use an assault rifle, I’ve been using the MTZ-556. It’s a great all-around weapon. I’ve equipped the FSS Spectre Microtherm optic on it, so I can see targets more easily in the distance. With all manner of combat situations on the Modern Warfare 3 Terminal map, you want to be ready for anything short-ranged, mid-ranged, or long-ranged.

General tips for this map

My biggest piece of advice is to avoid the Hallway at all costs. It’s a death trap. You can get sniped easily, a lot of bodies run through it, and you’re more likely to die than succeed. I would go around the shopping and dining areas of the Terminal instead and use the various cover spots available there to get from A to C.

Outside, there are some sneaky areas to run through. If your teammates are getting killed quickly in the airplane, go to the ladder at the back. At multiple times, I went in this direction, and the enemy didn’t see me slip through. I got around three kills at once because my opponents didn’t spot me.

If you see a pesky sniper up near the ventilation, call them out by double-tapping up on your D-Pad. This will make this annoying pest seen by the whole team.
