Publisher 505 Games has released the “Randomizer” update for the Nintendo Switch edition of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in early May, the new update will allow players who have achieved Bloodstained’s “True Ending” with Miriam to re-run the adventure as brooding demon slayer Zangetsu. While Zangetsu has his own weapons and attacks, he unfortunately does not have his own story arc/cut-scenes. Still, it’s a nice change of place to whiz through HellHold as a new character.

The Randomizer features will let players alter the parameters of the game, essentially creating a unique path through Bloodstained by shuffling item locations, save rooms, and quest givers, while tweaking the drops offered from defeated enemies. This will provide even the most hardened Bloodstained players with a fresh, new challenge. I just hope you find the voice-changer mask in double-quick time.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
