Billie Eilish is Fortnite Festival’s Season 3 main stage headliner

But will she be the Bad Guy?

Epic Games put years of speculation to an end by finally confirming Bille Eilish is headed to Fortnite, as the singer will be the Fortnite Festival’s upcoming main stage headliner for Season 3.

Billie Eilish confirmed she will take Fortnite Festival’s main stage on Tuesday April 23, 2024. The pop singer joins The Weekend and Lada Gaga as prominent artists to be featured in the rhythm game developed by Rock Band studio Harmonix.

The devs did not reveal any other details about the upcoming event, but players should expect similar content from previous updates. In Season 2 for Lady Gaga, Epic introduced a free or premium reward track, featuring cosmetic items, and songs for the headliner and other artists.

Fortnite has plenty of other crossovers going on at the moment. The v29.20 update added mythic bending abilities from Avatar: The Last Airbender and skins for Aang, Katara, Toph, and Zuko. The event notably snubbed Sokka, who surprisingly didn’t get a skin despite being one of the show’s main characters.

In addition, Fortnite recently introduced in-game concerts, exclusive items, and new skins to celebrate the Coachella music festival. This included the Cosma and Horizon astronaut skins and others that were available in the store for a limited time. It’s unclear what else the devs have up their sleeves for Fortnite Festival Season 3, but players should expect plenty of content centered around Eilish and her deep catalog of bangers.
