What is Artifice Armor in Destiny 2?
Destiny 2‘s Artifice Armor is a reward for some end-game activities that is highly sought after due to its additional mod slot. This mod slot will give a free +3 statistic mod of your choice, meaning you can boost your build statistics for free without taking up a mod slot for some of the other Armor Charge mods, for example. As the +3 mod is completely free to slot in, you can have extra armor energy available for other mods or stats, which takes builds to the next level for end-game and difficult content.
Can you farm Artifice Armor in Destiny 2?
Currently, the Ghalran boss fight in the Duality dungeon can provide an easy way to gain Artifice Armor in Destiny 2, as players can just push him off the map to beat the encounter. However, this will probably be patched soon as Bungie has temporarily disabled the Sorrow Bearer Gahlran checkpoint which was a quick way to repeat the encounter multiple times to get more Artifice Armor.
How can you get Artifice Armor then?
There are, fortunately, multiple other ways to get Artifice Armor in Destiny 2 and you don’t need to rely on pushing a boss off a map. Gather your strongest fireteam members and head into a Master version of any Duality, Spire of the Watcher, or Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Whilst there are five dungeons in the game, only these three have a Master difficulty level available. Artifice Armor is a reward for completing any of these Master difficulty dungeons or dungeon encounters. With the right build, your fireteam should be able to get a full set of Artifice Armor in a reasonable time.
Remember that the dungeons also contain weapons, so it could take longer than planned, but with the right strategies, it’s easy to achieve.
Destiny 2: Lightfall is out now for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
