Alhaitham is a powerful Dendro DPS character in Genshin Impact, but he relies on having the right teammates to reach his full potential. Here are some of Alhaitham’s best teams to maximize his damage.
Alhaitham’s best Quicken teams
As an on-field DPS, Alhaitham will rely on triggering Spread as many times as possible to deal the most damage. This means pairing him with off-field Electro teammates to trigger Quicken, which allows Alhaitham to trigger Spread. Fischl, Beidou, and Yae Miko are good offensive picks, while Kuki Shinobu makes for a good healer. Pick one or two Electro teammates to complement Alhaitham.
Then, round out your team with a second Dendro unit. Nahida is the best in this slot, but you can also use Dendro Traveler. Baizhu and Yaoyao make for good Dendro healers if you need defensive utility.
If space permits, you can bring an Anemo character with 4pc Viridescent Venerer. Kazuha, Sucrose, and Venti have good crowd control and will increase your Electro teammate’s damage by applying a RES debuff to enemies. Alternatively, Zhongli can apply a similar debuff while granting Alhaitham a shield.

Alhaitham’s best Hyperbloom teams
Hyperbloom teams are similar to Quicken teams, but with added Hydro. Dendro and Hydro create Dendro Cores, which look like little green seeds on the ground. Hitting these Dendro Cores with Electro attacks triggers Hyperbloom, which deals significant damage based on your Electro character’s Elemental Mastery.
Bring an Electro character who deals consistent AoE Electro damage. The best Electro characters for Hyperbloom in Genshin Impact are Raiden Shogun and Kuki Shinobu. Choose one or the other; you don’t need more than one Electro unit.
As for Hydro units, Alhaitham can work with most off-field Hydro options. These include Furina, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Kokomi. I recommend only bringing one Hydro character, since too much Hydro can make it harder for Alhaitham to trigger Spread.
The last team slot can be a second Dendro character (Nahida, Dendro Traveler, Baizhu, or Yaoyao) or a flex unit of your choice. Anemo characters like Kazuha, Sucrose, or Venti are fine picks, or you can bring Zhongli for his RES debuff and shield.
