Best teams and strategies

Suggested teams for first half:

The first half is made up of one multi-wave mobbing chamber and two boss chambers. If you like, you can bring a mob-focused team for the first chamber, then switch to a more boss-focused team after you obtain three stars.

I recommend bringing at least one Electro character to counter ASIMON. If you have enough damage, though, you can either burst down ASIMON before it turns invisible or wait for its invisibility period to end naturally.

Suggested teams for second half:

  • Neuvillette – Furina – Baizhu – Kazuha
  • Ganyu/Ayaka – Venti – Shenhe – Kokomi
  • Raiden – Xingqiu – Yelan – Venti/Kazuha

The chambers in the second half are all multi-wave mobbing floors. Crowd control units like Venti, Kazuha, or Sucrose are great at dealing with multiple enemies.

Be sure to bring plenty of Hydro too. There are two Pyro Abyss Lectors in chamber 2. You can group them together with an Anemo unit, which will help your Hydro attacks hit both Lectors at once.

Blessing of the Transfusing Moon

When a character receives healing, they will receive a buff to their Skill damage. This ability can be triggered when the character is off-field, which benefits off-field DPS units like Albedo and Furina. A healer who heals the whole team at once is best for activating the blessing on your entire party. As long as you have a healer of any sort, though, you should be able to benefit to this buff to varying degrees. Navia, for instance, appreciates the Skill damage buff when she swaps in to fire her gunbrella.

Don’t go out of your way to build your team around this blessing. It’s a good buff, but mostly because it’s so flexible. The blessing should work for most teams, as long as you have a healer.

First Half

Wave 1: 3x Primal Constructs
Wave 2: 1x Ruin Guard
Wave 3: 2x Ruin Drakes
Wave 4: 2x Eremite Summoners (Pyro and Anemo)

Second Half

Wave 1: 1x Dendro Samachurl, 2x Pyro Abyss Mages
Wave 2: 2x Pyro Abyss Lectors
Wave 3: 2x Black Serpent Knights

Tips

When the Primal Constructs turn invisible, you can trigger Quicken on them to stun them and make them vulnerable. If your team deals enough damage, though, you can take them down before they get the chance to turn invisible. The enemies by themselves aren’t too much trouble, but you will need enough DPS to deal with four waves before the timer ticks too low.

When the Pyro Abyss Lectors are low on health, they will shield themselves with a Pyro shield. This shield can only be depleted by reactions. Bring at least one Hydro user to deplete the shields with Vaporize. The Lectors can be grouped with Anemo abilities, so Kazuha and Venti are good picks, too. The Lectors will also summon a Pyro meteor with its own shield bar; be sure to prioritize these since they will make the Lectors vulnerable when destroyed.

First Half

Wave 1: Maguu Kenki

Second Half

Wave 1: 2x Kairagi (Pyro and Electro)
Wave 2: 2x Suppression Meks
Wave 3: 2x Geo Rifthounds
Wave 4: 1x Construction Mek, 1x Arithmetic Enhancer Mek, 1x Assault Mek

Tips

The Maguu Kenki in the first half is the vanilla version of the boss, not the triple Kenki in recent Abyss cycles. This should be a much easier challenge; just be aware that it will briefly turn invincible and do a large AoE slam at about two-thirds of its health.

The second half is a mobbing floor. The enemies themselves aren’t particularly difficult; just DPS them down as quickly as you can. The Rifthounds will gradually drain your HP if they hit you, so bring a healer if you’re concerned about losing too much HP.

First Half

Wave 1: ASIMON

Second Half

Wave 1: 1x Fatui Pyro Agent, 2x Fatui Pyroslingers
Wave 2: 1x Consecrated Vulture, 2x Bubbler Seahorses
Wave 3: 1x Consecrated Scorpion, 2x Sternshield Crabs

Tips

Several seconds after starting the fight, ASIMON will become invisible and invulnerable to damage. You can track where it is if you have ability marks (e.g. Nahida’s Seed of Skanda, Childe’s Riptide), debuffs, or elemental statuses on the enemy. Trigger Quicken (Electro + Dendro) on the boss while it’s invisible to stun it and make it vulnerable.

If you can’t trigger Quicken, destroy its constructs, then apply Electro to its towers while it’s regenerating. This will also stun ASIMON, though it takes a bit longer.

Alternatively, if your team deals enough damage, you can burst down ASIMON before it has a chance to turn invisible.

The second half has two waves with hyper-aggressive Consecrated Beasts. Try to focus on the Consecrated Beasts as much as you can since they pose the biggest threat. Freeze teams are very comfortable for this chamber. The Beasts can’t hit you if they’re permanently Frozen!
