Best strategies for Diablo 4 power leveling in Season 3

The climb to level 100 has become significantly easier in Diablo 4, but there’s still quite a bit of a grind to get there. Since the best part of the game is to refine builds and rack up crazy damage numbers, here are the best strategies for power leveling in Season 3 of Diablo 4.

Below, we’ll summarize some of the most consistent things you can do to level quickly.

For leveling builds

Farm the Domhainne Tunnels

Every RPG has a “loot cave” where you can kill waves and waves of enemies to get better loot and level up fast. This is the equivalent of that and has become the early-game staple to get your build started. If you completed the story in the past and chose to skip it for this season, head right over here.

The Domhainne Tunnels are located in the Scosglen, Strand region. The closest Waypoint is Corbach. From there, head west (left). It’s directly left on the map, but you will have to make some turns and hug some cliffs to get there.

Complete Strongholds

Every season, Strongholds reset. They are a very reliable source of early-game quick XP upon clearing them. The enemy levels will be a bit higher than your current one, so just have some skills unlocked so you can clear them with little trouble.

World Tier 3 and up

Upon hitting level 50 or close enough, clear the Cathedral of Light Capstone dungeon so you can unlock World Tier 3 which will give you better gear and more XP. The following methods of leveling are also applicable to Tier 4 Torment once you get the ability to unlock it.

Farm the Tree of Whispers and Arcane Tremors simultaneously

Do this activity passively. You’re mostly doing this so you can kill two birds with one stone. Look around the map and see where Construct Arcane Tremors are happening. You’ll see that green leaf on top of the Cull Constructs and Loot Obelisks. If you see that you can also earn Grim Favors after clearing them, do these ASAP.

You’re going to be able to cash these out at the Tree of Whispers for a massive XP reward, new loot, levels for your Seneschal Construct, and different parts to summon Varshan.

What makes these a viable power leveling area is that enemy density is high. On top of that, several elites start spawning, along with field bosses if you summon a Herald of Malphas.

Farm Nightmare Dungeons

This is going to be the bulk of your endgame activities unless you decide to take on side activities and the echo bosses. Nightmare Dungeons provide a hefty chunk of XP because of increased enemy levels and difficulty modifiers.

It is recommended that you start making a decent build that can clear rooms and bosses, or at least survive against the massive CC potential that enemy mobs have. Start off with Tier 1 and slowly work your way up comfortably so you won’t get hit with a difficulty spike that’s too hard to clear.
