Sethos is a unique 4-star Electro DPS character in Genshin Impact with multiple playstyles. Luckily, no matter how you play him, Sethos can be built the same way. Here are the best weapons and artifacts for Sethos!
Sethos’ best weapons in Genshin Impact
Hunter’s Path: best 5-star weapon for Sethos
Sethos’ best weapon is the 5-star Hunter’s Path. Despite being Tighnari’s signature Bow, Hunter’s Path has a great passive for Sethos, increasing his Charged Attack damage based on his Elemental Mastery. If you happen to have Hunter’s Path in your inventory, Sethos makes for a great user. I wouldn’t recommend pulling Hunter’s Path specifically for Sethos, though.
Slingshot: most accessible weapon for Sethos
Oddly enough, the 3-star Slingshot is one of Sethos’ best weapons. It has a low base ATK, but it provides a good amount of CRIT Rate as well as a DMG buff to Normal and Charged Attacks. As long as you’re not too far from your enemy, Slingshot is able to buff Sethos by a significant amount. Slingshot is easily obtained through wishes, and you should aim for Refinement Rank 5 if possible.
Cloudforged: decent 4-star weapon for Sethos
If you don’t have an R5 Slingshot in your inventory, you can opt for Cloudforged instead. Its passive works for Sethos whether he’s using his Normal Attacks or Charged Attacks. Still, I recommend using Slingshot if possible.
Despite being featured in promotional material, Scion of the Blazing Sun is not worth buying for Sethos, especially since it requires spending real-life money on the Battle Pass.
Artifact sets for Sethos in Genshin Impact
4pc Wanderer’s Troupe
4pc Wanderer’s Troupe is Sethos’ best artifact set. It provides both Elemental Mastery and an unconditional Charged Attack buff. Wanderer’s Troupe artifacts can be farmed using artifact strongboxes, though you can get additional pieces while defeating world bosses.
4pc Gilded Dreams
4pc Gilded Dreams provides Sethos with a large amount of Elemental Mastery depending on his teammates’ elements. Gilded Dreams artifacts are easier to farm than Wanderer’s Troupe, but Wanderer’s Troupe provides more consistent buffs. Still, the two are similar enough where you can use whichever you feel more comfortable with.
Artifact stats to prioritize for Sethos
Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
Elemental Mastery | Electro DMG | CRIT Rate/DMG |
Sethos should have about 120% Energy Recharge for comfortable rotations. Just make sure he triggers a reaction with his Skill, which shouldn’t be an issue as long as you have other elements in your team. If paired with Fischl, Sethos can forgo building Energy Recharge entirely.
Prioritize Sethos’ offensive stats, which are primarily CRIT and Elemental Mastery. ATK doesn’t hurt either, but most of Sethos’ damage scaling comes from Elemental Mastery rather than ATK.
