In recent years, the types and quantity of packs have only increased. During promos, there are promo-specific packs as well, which have better odds of getting pack items. That said, not every pack is equal, and I prefer to earn my packs (by grinding weekly/seasonal content rather than spending coins/FC Points.

Let’s take a look at the best packs that you can earn and open in Ultimate Team.

The packs are judged based on certain parameters – the total number of items, the possible rarity of those items, and their in-game value. Some packs, while having lesser value, can actually be more rewarding. This might be due to how many times you can earn these packs.

Daily Preview Pack2,200 coinsWhile the average value is low, you’ll only need to spend 7,500 coins to open this. But before you open, you can check out the content and what the pack has in store for you. No other pack, barring the Silver preview pack, offers this unique opportunity.
Energizer Pack3,000 coinsThe Energizer packs aren’t always available in the store, and EA Sports usually releases them during promos. While the pack contains three Rare Gold Players, it only costs 10 coins (yes, just 10 coins). Sure, the odds aren’t much in your favor, but 10 coins is nothing.

Any 82+ packsNAOver the course of seasons, you’ll get different packs that guarantee cards rated 82 or more. These packs are always incredible to get as they’re earned by playing the game. The higher the overall, the better it gets.

It’s worth noting that some of these packs have yet to be launched in EA FC 25 (but they will arrive and have already been coded into the game). A few of these packs are also routinely available in the store, and you can buy them with your coins. However, it’s best to save your Ultimate Team coins for cards from the market and open packs you get as rewards.
