Best MCW loadout for Warzone Season 3: Attachments, perks, and equipment

This isn’t your traditional AR.

MCW

Given that the MCW is an AR, players probably expect the weapon to shine most in medium to long-range gunfighters. However, a Conversion Kit transforms the rifle into the best sniper-support weapon in Warzone.

Since the MORS was introduced in Season 3, sniping has experienced a massive boom in Warzone. But no sniper loadout is complete without a complimentary sidekick. The RAM 7’s nerf in the most recent seasonal update opened the door for a new weapon to take its mantle. That’s where the MCW JAK Raven Conversion Kit steps in.

  • Muzzle: ZEHM35 Compensated Barrel
  • Barrel: Second Line Mammoth Heavy Barrel
  • Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag
  • Conversion Kit: JAK Raven Kit

According to WZ Ranked, the MCW is currently the most popular weapon in Warzone, with a 38 percent pick rate. In comparison, the second most selected weapon comes in at 16 percent. The sudden rise in notoriety is all thanks to the JAK Raven Kit, which massively decreases damage range and bullet velocity for a significant rate of fire and mobility improvements. The Conversion Kit makes the AR perform closer to an SMG, but the weapon still has enough range to extend it’s range further than a traditional short-range meta. As a result, the MCW offers the best of both worlds and works perfectly in tandem with a sniper rifle.

Our loadout focuses on making up for the lost bullet velocity and range without sacrificing the mobility we gained from using the Conversion Kit.

Best MCW perks and equipment in Warzone

  • Perk Package
    • Perk 1: Double Time
    • Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
    • Perk 3: Tempered
    • Perk 4: High Alert
  • Secondary Weapon: MORS
  • Lethal: Breacher Drone
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Perks come down to personal preference, but this is the best possible combination of options for Season 3. Movement is already improved in Warzone thanks to the MW3 mechanics, but Double Time takes things to the next level by enhancing the duration and refresh rate of Tac Sprint.

Sleight of Hand will come in handy when reloading a weapon fast in the heat of a gunfight, as the perk reduces reload times. Plates are always hard to come by, so Tempered reduces the full armor requirement from three plates to two. Finally, High Alert pings your screen when an enemy is looking at you, which removes the feeling of being helpless of your surroundings.

As a sniper-support weapon, we recommend using the MCW with the MORS. For your equipment, the best options are the Breacher Drone and Smoke Grenade for a lethal combination of defense and offense.
