The neverending battle each season of Fortnite is to get as many levels as possible to max out the seasonal battle pass and earn all of its elusive rewards. Fortunately, there are some Fortnite maps and modes, which allow you to farm the most XP possible as fast as possible.
Best maps for XP farm in Fortnite: LEGO Fortnite
In general, the three new game modes in Fortnite Chapter 5 all provide excellent ways to farm XP for the main game. Yes, all of them, including even LEGO Fortnite, allow you to gain experience in this mode to use in the core game. What’s weird about LEGO Fortnite is it doesn’t let you know you are earning XP unless you really leave the game and go back to the lobby.
However, the best part is you can stay in this game pretty much indefinitely. After about three hours, the server has to reset but you can instantly press a button and continue playing and farming experience. Even better, I have sat around in a safe spot at my settlement for hours on end while I work, meanwhile, my character gained numerous levels doing nothing. It is by far one of the best ways to farm XP in this game.
Rocket Racing
Rocket Racing is another one of the new games in Chapter 5. Unlike the previous mode, though, it is a bit more involved. If you like racing cars on wild tracks, this is an excellent way to farm XP. You get quite a lot of experience for even a single race and it only compounds for each one you do in a row.
Better yet, grab a couple of friends and it will make the entire experience a lot smoother and more enjoyable for grinding those levels. I would rank this below LEGO Fortnite but it’s still a valuable method for those who like to be engaged.
Fortnite Festival Main Stage
Fortnite Festival has two core modes, the first of which is the Main Stage. It is here where players gather with up to three other players to pick songs to jam out to Rock Band-style. Each song you perform gives you a fair bit of experience, but you can also progress through the Festival Pass at the same time.
Complete daily quests to unlock new song tracks and instrument skins, while also ranking up your overall battle pass levels at the same time.
Fortnite Festival Jam Stage
The Jam Stage is a separate mode from the core Fortnite Festival experience. Here, you can run around a small open area and perform jam tracks with other players at your leisure. If you start playing a jam track and then walk away from the game, you’ll complete daily quests and gain tons of experience at the same time.
This mode does seem to cap out at around five levels or so per day, but you can get them in only a few hours and you can progress your Festival Pass at the same time.
