ARC Raiders has a highly flexible skill tree system that allows you to develop fluid builds.

There’s no fixed class-based system. Instead, you have to invest your skill points in three different branches. You can’t unlock every node on the skill tree, which makes it essential for you to pay attention to how you’re investing the points.

With enemy players to take down and ARC enemies on your heels, it’s vital to go for a meta build.

ARC Raiders best builds

Every build in ARC Raiders has different strengths and weaknesses. While you should focus on finding one that suits your playstyle, certain skills are too good to be left out. Keeping these factors in mind, here are some builds you can use.

Combat Specialist

With human and AI opponents to take down, investing a bulk of your points in combat is always a good choice. This build focuses on empowering your fighting potential, while also making you mobile in the heat of a battle.

Here’s how I have invested the points.

Used to the Weight 5Nimble Climber 1Agile Croucher 1
Blast-Born 2Marathon Runner 4Revitalizing Squat 5
Flight or Fight 5Youthful Lungs 5In-Round Crafting 1

Tutle Crawl 2Carry the Momentum 1N/A
Back on Your Feet 1Calming Stroll 1N/A
A Little Extra 1Effortless Roll 3N/A
Loaded Arms 1HHeroic Leap 3N/A
Gentle Pressure 5Crawl Before You Walk 3N/A
Proficient Pryer 5Vigorous Vaulter 1N/A
Unburned Roll 1Off The Wall 1N/A
Effortless Swing 2N/AN/A
Sky-Clearing Swing 3N/AN/A
Flyswatter 1N/AN/A

The primary focus of the build is towards Back on Your Feet and Flyswatter. While Back on Your Feet and all the skills on that path allow you to recover better, Flyswatter allows you to single-hit ARC drones. The latter is beneficial for saving bullets and quickly finishing drone enemies.

Points have also been invested in Mobility nodes like Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs to improve stamina management (which works well with the melee-focused nature of this build). I have also made a few investments in the Survival nodes to ensure you can still loot quite safely.

Resource Rat

If your goal is to get as many resources as possible from the wasteland, this will be a fun and peculiar build for you to enjoy. The build relies heavily on Survival, where I have invested 51 of 75 skill points. The build revolves around Minesweeper and Security Breach skill nodes. The latter allows you to access Security Lockers. Here’s how I have invested the points.

ConditioningMobilitySurvival

I have also opted for full investment in both Marathon Runners and Iron Lungs since you’re going to require the additional stamina. Since you aim to loot as much as possible, having full investment in Proficient Pryer reduces the time taken to open and get more items.

The Solo King (or Queen)

If you’re playing ARC Raiders solo, you’ll have to pay especially close attention to your build. I have opted for a setup that excels in all three departments (as you have to do it all on your own).

Note: The build is a work in progress.

Here’s how I have distributed the points.

The aim here is to have as many active basic nodes as possible, but with an emphasis on Survival and Mobility. With this build, you can also opt for only one final node, and that should be towards Security Breach.

While the build isn’t as specialized as the other two options above, it removes any limitation that you might have. I will be updating a complete build for this one once I have finished experimenting with the more advanced nodes.
