If you’ve been quietly waiting all year to finally update your gaming laptop, this Black Friday season is as good of a time as any. Below, you’ll see some of the best Black Friday gaming laptop deals available thus far online, with pricing going from as low as $599 for a VR-ready rig, to as high as over a thousand if you’re looking for machines with a higher-end GPU and CPU combo.

Almost everything below is at their lowest ever price – and unsurprisingly, some of the best deals are actually at third-party retailers such as Walmart and Microsoft Store instead of the manufacturer’s own web store. If you spot a gaming laptop deal that’s noteworthy – let us know and we’ll add it to the list below. 

Don’t want to scan or read everything below? Our top pick is the $799 Lenovo Y7000 sporting a Core i7-8750H and a GeForce GTX 1060 with SSD and plenty of RAM. It’ll run everything for well under $1,000. For the budget pick, we’ll go with the $599 Dell G3 which comes with a Core i5-8300H and a GTX 1050 Ti – this will run almost all titles at decent middle-ish settings without breaking the bank.

While not cheap, the MSI GL63 is VR ready thanks to it GTX 1060 6GB, and the pricier GP73 is one of the few gaming laptops sporting a high-end GTX 1070 we’ve spotted that’s actually sporting a good discount. (Note: GL63 has been going in and out of stock).

Perhaps the best Black Friday deal thus far is the Dell G3 15 gaming laptop listed above for $599 from Microsoft Store. This laptop s configured with a Quad Core i5-8300H and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti – making it a VR-ready title (albeit at slightly lower resolution).

A good balance of performance and price is the $699 offer from Walmart, which gets you a faster CPU (Core i7-8750H) and an SSD combo for an extra $100. Another great pick is the $849 G5 15 gaming laptop which sports a GeForce GTX 1060, and this is one of the cheapest gaming laptops you can pick up with a GTX 1060.

In terms of deals for the Lenovo Legion gaming laptops, the best one is actually at Walmart with the Y7000 listed above. For $799 you’ll get a Quad Core i7 machine powered by a GTX 1060. At well under $1,000 – we actually think this is the best gaming laptop deal this Black Friday.

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop

HP isn’t offering anything groundbreaking this Black Friday season, but their Omen laptops are discounted slightly more than usual (about $50 to $100 cheaper). All machines above will get a free copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as an added bonus (about a $40 street value as of today). While prices are ok for all the models above, the Omen with the most discount is the $899 model, except this particular config is an older model with a slightly different chassis. If you prefer the newer model styling, we’ll go with $799 Omen 15 instead (which has a GTX 1050 instead of a GTX 1050 Ti).

Update 11/23/18: Prices dropped by $50 on select HP Omen models, added in some MSI goodies from Walmart and the Pavilion Gaming Laptop lineup from HP which are budget friendly gaming laptops.
