The whimsical Billy Kid is one of the first starter characters you’ll take control of in Zenless Zone Zero. Although he’s a part of the game’s early stages, he can still pack a punch with his robust Physical attacks later on. Here’s how to maximize his performance with the best Billy Kid build in Zenless Zone Zero.
What is the best build for Billy Kid in ZZZ?
Each ZZZ character has a space of one W-Engine and five Drives Discs. For the best performance, equip these items to Billy Kid’s build:
- W-Engine: Steel Cushion
- Drive Discs:
- Fanged Metal 4-Piece set
- Woodpecker Electro or Hormone Punk 2-Piece set
As a Physical attacker, Billy Kid can truly shine with the Fanged Metal 4-Piece set. The 2-Piece version boosts his Physical DMG by 10 percent. Then, the 4-Piece set unleashes 35 percent additional DMG for 12 seconds whenever a team member inflicts Assault. With these discs, Billy becomes an heavy-hitting monster, using his guns to swiftly eliminate the opposing side.
You’ll still have two more Drive Discs to fill in, where you can either go with the Woodpecker Electro or Hormone Punk 2-Piece set. Woodpecker Electro boosts Billy Kid’s CRIT Rate by eight percent, which can stack up to a hefty amount of damage. But, if you don’t have this piece or have it equipped for another character, the Hormone Punk can increase overall ATK by 12 percent.
All that’s left now is Billy Kid’s W-Engine, in which the Steel Cushion is the perfect choice. As an Attack specialist, Billy can take advantage of this item, boosting his Physical DMG by 20 percent. It also increases standard DMG by 25 percent when attacking an enemy from behind.
Besides the Steel Cushion, there are plenty of W-Engines designed for Billy Kid’s Attack specialty. In particular, if you enjoy using chain attacks, opt for the Street Superstar to gain one Charge stack. Or, equip Starlight Engine to increase ATK after a successful Dodge Counter or Quick Assist.
Best Bangboo for Billy Kid in Zenless Zone Zero
Equip the S rank Amillion to gain the exclusive Street Code ability. This Bangboo’s technique only works when two Cunning Hares are on the field. Billy Kid will already count as one, so equip another one to get it to work.
If you have two or more Physical Attribute wielders, utilize Luckyboo to enhance Anomaly Buildup and Active Skills. Or, use Bagboo to increase your Chain Attack DMG as an Attack specialist.
Best team for Billy Kid in Zenless Zone Zero
For the best Billy Kid team, use Nekomata and Nicole. You’ll earn the Amillion buff and Billy Kid’s Passive skill, which triggers when two or more Cunning Hares are on the field.
As long as you have one other Cunning Hare member on the field, it should boost the team’s performance overall. It’s also possible to sub in another character for the third choice if you want to try something else.
