We’ve tested most of them, and we also tried various combinations of units, gears, and curses of our own. Finally, after a lot of experimentation, we settled on the best Anime Rangers X Swarm Event team that produces clear times between 0:47 and 1:00, listed below.

Best Anime Rangers X Swarm Event Team for Update 6.0
The main DPS of this team for the Swarm Event in Anime Rangers X is Shadow Monarch (Evo), which has the highest DPS potential in the game. Unlike Akuma, which was the previous go-to main DPS for Swarm Event stages, Shadow Monarch doesn’t have to ramp up his damage. Therefore, even if the boss kills Shadow Monarch, the overall clear time won’t be significantly impacted. All other units on the team are supports. Griffin (Heavenly Feather), Lullaby (Domination), and Omega Dragonlord buff allies in range, while Primal Fusion and Vampire Emperor (Heaven) debuff the boss, making him take more damage.

The only mandatory curse you need to have is the -15% Ability cooldown on Shadow Monarch (Evo). If you have the Domain of Love Soul, you can equip it on Griffin (Heavenly Feather) for a slight CT boost. The order of units is also important, as the unit furthest to the right will get auto-upgraded first.

Strategy Explained
Our strategy for the Anime Rangers X Swarm Event mode is very straightforward: buff Shadow Monarch, debuff the boss, and let Shadow Monarch nuke him in record time. Simply put, the new strategy is much more consistent compared to the previous one, which required Akuma to remain alive and outside of the boss’s range at all times. There are only two units that you need to auto-upgrade, and those are Shadow Monarch (Evo) and Lullaby (Domination). If you don’t have Lullaby, you can replace her with either Skeleton Knight or Priest of Heaven.
Expected Clear Times
The average clear times when using our strategy for the Swarm Event in Anime Rangers X range from 0:47 to 1:00. Occasionally, the clear time might be a bit lower or higher. Compared to most other Swarm Event strategies, this one is very consistent, and even when the main DPS, Shadow Monarch, dies, the clear time is prolonged by only a few seconds.
