Want to know what people are most interested in borrowing from GameFly’s videogame rental/delivery service? The rental lists are interesting because I think it lays out what people want to play but aren’t willing to buy. Of course, there isn’t a direct correlation, but I think there’s something to the total lack of Wii games in the top ten, as Joystiq pointed out.
Here’s the top five requested games on GameFly in 2008:
- Assassin’s Creed – PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS
- Army of Two – PS3, Xbox 360
- Grand Theft Auto IV – PS3, Xbox 360
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – PS3, Xbox 360
- Devil May Cry 4 – PS3, Xbox 360
So, while this may vary from person to person, I’d say this top ten list reads like my personal want to play but don’t want to buy list for last year. The exception for me is Dead Space, coming in at number 9. Did you rent or buy any of these games in 2008?
