Are you looking forward to Gears of War 4?

Here’s some multiplayer footage

I haven’t really seen any major buzz (at least in the community itself) regarding Gears of War 4. I remember there being some excitement towards the initial reveal and the enhanced focus on horror, but not much since. This footage of the map “Impact” might change your mind, or it might not. I don’t really know, and since I’m kind of in the middle on it myself, I want to hear your thoughts!

I reckon it’ll appeal to people who may have skipped out on the series since the first or second game — and the PC/Xbox One cross-compatibility doesn’t hurt. After all, Gears is a popular series, but only had releases in 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2013. 

The Coalition (and formerly Epic Games) at least take their time crafting each one, and even if they aren’t all created equal, they’re all serviceable and capable shooters.
