Battlefield 6 is now live on PC and consoles, but the servers seem to be in a bit of a pickle.
If you have been trying to get into the game on opening day, chances are that you’re sitting in front of the screen with a long queue in front of you. While Battlefield 6 has a single-player campaign on offer, connecting to the servers is a must if you want to participate in any mode.
This guide will help you stay updated about the current server status and situation.
Are Battlefield 6 servers down at launch?
As of Oct. 10, Battlefield 6 servers all around the globe are working as intended. The servers went live and global at 8am PT/10am CT, and you can join in to enjoy one of the many available modes.
As I have mentioned above, chances are high that you’re finding yourself behind a long queue when trying to get into Battlefield 6. This is absolutely routine, and there’s no need to worry. EA had already informed us that a login queue would be placed at launch to ensure that the servers don’t crash. While you’re waiting for your turn, it ensures that the servers don’t end up getting overloaded due to unexpected traffic.
Just wait for the queue to get over, and you’ll be able to log in and start a match.
How to check Battlefield 6 server status
While the servers are working on launch day, they could go down in the future. The best way to check server status is to follow the official X handle for the game’s status updates. If there are any server maintenance plans, they will post in advance.
Otherwise, you can always depend on third-party sites like Downdetector to find out if the servers are operational. If you have a plethora of red dots on your screen, it means that the servers are down. When the servers go down, the only option is to wait patiently.
