Anime Odyssey Units Tier List
Keep in mind that the current tier list is a work in progress. As we explore and learn more about the units, this list will get updated.
S Tier Anime Odyssey Units
Unit | Rarity | Description |
---|---|---|
Agony | Legendary | • Circle AoE • Average placement and upgrade cost for a legendary • 4 max placement • Very good DPS from the start but the Almighty Push at Upgrade 5 makes for a powerful attack that can clear enemies. The high SPA deters him a bit but not by much. Has saved my neck plenty of times. |
Speedcart | Epic | • Average placement and upgrade cost for a unit that will essentially be farming you money. • 3 max placement • Money farming units are always useful for upgrades and placement, especially if you have a bunch of high rarity units. Speedcart is the best at what he does. |
A Tier Anime Odyssey Units
Unit | Rarity | Description |
---|---|---|
Kizora | Legendary | • Circle AoE • 4 max placement • Very good DPS • Light Strike at upgrade 5 is great at destroying many enemies, though be prepared to be blinded a lot • Great at the start as he can solo, but if there are many of enemies, he can get overwhelmed and they will start slipping through the cracks |
Orwin | Legendary | • Summoner • Average placement and upgrade cost for a legendary • 4 max placement • While he himself deals no damage, Orwin summons survey corp members to do his bidding. They will travel on horses down the same path enemies do and take them out. With upgrades, you will be increasing the health and frequency of the members. He is a very useful unit while clearing story. |
Sharky | Legendary | • Circle AoE to Line AoE • Average placement and upgrade cost for a legendary • 3 max placement • Sharky is a great starter that I switched to as soon as I got him. Similarly to Kizora, he can get overwhelmed by the number of enemies due to his SPA. I’m also not a big fan of the line AoE switch with upgrades. You have to be very careful where you place him from the start. |
B Tier Anime Odyssey Units
Unit | Rarity | Description |
---|---|---|
Rock | Epic | • 5 max placement • Circle AoE with excellent range • Cheap placement and upgrades which make him a great starter • No special skills later on with upgrades • Great for clearing the first world, but will be overpowered by other units quickly |
Killuo | Epic | • 4 max placement • Circle AoE with medium range • Cheap placement and upgrades, a powerful DPS which makes him a great starter. If you had to pick an epic to stay on your team even later on, I’d go with Killuo. • Even though the upgrades boost his damage quite a bit, he doesn’t have any special skills along with updates, so you might want to go for a Legendary unit instead later on. |
Vegita | Rare | • 6 max placement • Circle AoE with medium range • His placement is cheap but the upgrades can get very expensive. However, when you take into consideration how powerful this Rare unit is, it won’t feel so expensive. Placing six of them on the field seems like an impossible deal, though. |
C Tier Anime Odyssey Units
Unit | Rarity | Description |
---|---|---|
Noruto | Rare | • Line AoE • Cheap placement and upgrades in line with this being a rare unit. • 4 max placement • Very good DPS for a rare and a great starter until you can get someone from the B tier. |
Goko | Rare | • Line AoE • Cheap placement and upgrades like most rares. • 4 max placement • Another rare DPS that works for a starter. |
Ichi | Rare | • Line AoE • Cheap placement and upgrades (there’s a pattern with these rares) • 4 max placement • Very good DPS, can be used for a starter though I would go for Vegita or Rock as soon as you have them. |
Usoapp | Rare | • Air unit, the only one out of the Rare ones. • Placement is cheap but the upgrades can be expensive, especially for a rare. If you have a unit like Kizora, you won’t be touching him. • 4 max placement |
D Tier Anime Odyssey Units
Unit | Rarity | Description |
---|---|---|
Zennu | Epic | • Line AoE • Cheap placement and upgrades, but as an epic really falls short compared to the rest. • 4 max placement • Stats aren’t great, especially when you have better rare units like Vegita. |
Nezuka | Rare | • Circle AoE • Pretty cheap placement but expensive upgrades. The damage increase is great, but not enough to validate using her instead of better units that cost similar. • 4 max placement |
Sanjay | Rare | • Circle AoE • Cheap placement and upgrades, but that doesn’t really matter when the damage output is so weak and basically useless. • 4 max placement |
