Wait, Zelda’s on this list?
Hey, listen, Nintendo of America has released a ranking of the Nintendo Switch’s most played games since the system launched back in March. The list is filled with a plethora of Nintendo’s first-party titles, but several indie titles and popular third-party games made the cut as well.
The list was released via the “News” section on the Nintendo Switch. It contains 20 titles, with juggernauts The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey taking the top spots:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Splatoon 2
- Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition
- Stardew Valley
- Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
- ARMS
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
- NBA 2K18
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch
- Fire Emblem Warriors
- Lego City Undercover
- Sonic Mania
- Pokkén Tournament DX
- 1-2-Switch
- FIFA 18
- Disgaea 5 Complete
- Rocket League
Personally, I couldn’t be happier to see Stardew Valley doing so well on the Switch. That title seemed perfectly suited for a casual, mobile format, and its success gives me hope that other indies can find their way onto Nintendo’s new console.
