It might seem sus, but you have to believe me when I tell you that, according to a recent PlayStation blog, Among US VR is on its way to PSVR2. In the past, we’ve reported on the virtual reality version of the hit party game coming to Steam and Meta Quest, but now that the PSVR2 has been out for a while, it’d seem Sony is hitting the Emergency Alert button and planning a release for its headset.
In the PlayStation blog, Kat De Shields-Moon and Adam Kuta of Schell Games who, alongside Innersloth and Robot Teddy, represent a third of Among Us VR’s developers, confirmed the game will cost $9.99 when it launches for PSVR2. Outside of a “coming soon” promise, it’s when Among Us VR will launch, but we do know that this version of the game arrives with two maps: The Skeld II and Polus Point.
The Skeld II is, of course, based on the infamous map of a similar name. Polus Point, on the other hand, is also based on the Polus map from the original game, but it “features 50% more tasks, nine new rooms with *cough* delicious hidden objects, and brand-new kill and ejection animations,” according to De Shields-Moon and Kuta. While they gave no indication of a release date, you can wishlist Among Us VR on the PlayStation Store beginning today to be notified of when that changes.
