Amazon sends word that a new feature will be available at Amazon.com’s game store: digital pre-orders! You will be able to pre-order digital games on the site. Battlefield 3, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Saints Row: The Third, and Sims 3: Pets are among the first titles available.
Why bother with pre-ordering? Amazon says that you’ll save 30 percent off the list price. Nice. You’ll also avoid any kind of upfront costs, as you’ll be billed on the day the game releases. They say they also plan to offer bonus items and exclusives.
