Nightingale is available exclusively on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store starting February 20, 2024, in Early Access. That said, although you can look into consoles for a potential future release, your PC system features are the main priority here to ensure you meet the game’s recommended requirements.
Nightingale PC system requirements
Below are the minimum and recommended PC system requirements to run Nightingale according to the game’s Steam store page:
Minimum PC system requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4430
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, Radeon RX 580 or Intel Arc A580
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 70 GB available space
Recommended PC system requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super, Radeon RX 5700XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 70 GB available space
In other words, while you’ll need a solid setup to run Nightingale at high graphics, you won’t have to purchase a new, high-end PC to meet these requirements. You’ll also have to watch your storage space, as 70 GB can quickly eat up your drive space, especially if you already have bigger games installed on your system. While Nightingale‘s Early Access version may require less space, patches and DLC additions will increase this over time.
The Epic Games Store version of Nightingale differs slightly, with the main difference being its required storage listed as 100 GB. Outside of this, both the minimum and recommended settings ask for a 3 GHz quad-core Intel processor and recommend a graphics card with 8 GB video RAM or more and eight TFlops or greater. In short, as long as you meet the Steam requirements, you’ll likely satisfy Epic Game’s requirements, too. However, if you buy it through EGS, prepare some extra storage space, just in case.
