Fury Road releasing September 21
The Mad Max game comes out today. I’ve been incredibly sceptical of it, seeing as it’s been on frequent big discounts on various websites, so I’m happy to wait for our review before buying it.
However, the game hasn’t come alone. Out of nowhere, the first three of the Mad Max films have hit Steam at the same time. Mad Max, Mad Max 2: Road Warrior, and Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome are all up for sale on Steam alongside the new game.
On top of that, Mad Max: Fury Road is also available to pre-purchase on Steam, and is due to be released on September 21. Fury Road is by far the biggest film release on Steam so far, so it’s a good sign the platform actually is working well for films.
Our pals over at Flixist gave it a glowing review, and ever since it released it’s the only film I’ve heard anyone ever talk about, so I guess people like it?
The game and the first three films are available for purchase now (with the original film only being available as part of a complete bundle that includes all four films and the game), while a pre-order for Fury Road is available that will unlock on September 21.
