Standard Edition

Yes, this is the basic edition of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and it is available for both consoles and PCs. Price-wise, you will have to pay $59.99 on Steam or Epic for Windows, and $69.99 on the Xbox and PlayStation stores. I know it’s frustrating that the console version costs $10 extra, but if you buy it from Best Buy, then you will get a $10 gift card after the game is shipped.

Don’t worry; despite being the cheapest edition, it does provide you with a reward, which is a Blood Dragon Armor cosmetic. Or maybe you can save up your money to buy the Deluxe Edition for extra sweet items.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition of any modern video game usually costs $20–$30 extra, but this one’s only $10 more. What do you get? You will receive a magic and rogue armor set for Rook, as well as seven weapons and armor sets for Companions. The pricing is $69.99 on Steam and Epic, and $79.99 on PlayStation and Xbox. However, if you are using a console, I recommend pre-ordering from Best Buy, as the Deluxe Edition also includes a $10 gift card.

Rook’s Coffer Edition

But if you want something really exclusive, you can buy the Rook’s Coffer Edition. As suggested by the name, it is packed with cool stuff like the Rook’s Deck, Light-up Lyrium Dagger, Enchanted Die, Potion Flask, and Thedas Map with Quiver Tube.

Do note that there are two versions of this edition: one that comes with the game, and one that only has the physical goodies. You can pre-order the game-included edition from GameStop for $219.99. Not only that, you will also receive some extra in-game cosmetics, like:

  • Bow of the Fallen Kingdom
