All Black and White Island item locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

During Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Palace in Time quest during Rift in Time’s final act, you’ll finally encounter Jafar and get to the root of the issues surrounding Eternity Isles’ issues. However, before you can truly confront him, you’ll teleport to Black and White Island, where you must find three items to return to Jafar’s Castle, leading directly into the Now and Then quest.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Black and White Island guide

After arriving on Black and White Island and speaking to Mickey Mouse, you’ll have three items to search for around the area. You’ll recognize these immediately, as you made them for Gaston, Rapunzel, and Mickey Mouse in a previous quest. Below are the three items:

• Rapunzel’s Lantern
• Mickey’s Hot Dog Roaster
• Gaston’s Ship in a Bottle

Since Gaston’s ship is locked behind a chest, you must also find a Chest Key. Let’s talk about how to find all four of these items.

Rapunzel’s Lantern

The first item on the list is Rapunzel’s Lantern, which you’ll find under a large pile of copper rocks. If you’re starting from Mickey’s spot, head down the hill and loop around toward the island’s exit until you see two boulders beside each other. Dig up the copper rocks to pick up the lantern, marking one of three items off your list.

Mickey’s Hot Dog Roaster

The second item, Mickey’s Hot Dog stand, is hidden under the dirt. Head back up the hill where Mickey is before checking a nearby ledge. You’ll see a copper rock in the way which you can break to reveal a hole with the Hot Dog stand poking out. Dig this spot up to obtain the Hot Dog Roaster.

Chest Key

You’ll need a chest key before you can obtain Gaston’s Ship in a Bottle. Look around Black and White Island until you see fishing bubbles before casting your line toward it. A successful catch will net you to the chest key, which you can now use to get the final item for the Now and Then quest.

Gaston’s Ship in a Bottle

The treasure chest containing Gaston’s Ship is hidden behind a copper rock under the island’s hill. Loop around the island until you see the copper rock concealing the chest’s location. Fortunately, you can break the boulder and head into the cave to open the chest and pick up Gaston’s Ship.

Now that you have all three items, you can return to Mickey to continue the Now and Then quest during the Rift in Time expansion’s final act.
