Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) has announced the talent who will be hosting the event and shoutcasting matches as they evolve at the end of this month during the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs 2024. The broadcast talent is imperative to the event, because it helps translate the action for everyone watching.
The ALGS Split 2 Playoffs 2024 will take place from August 29 to September 1, 2024. Over the weekend, 40 teams will compete in intense Apex Legends matches as they battle for a spot in the finals and a bigger portion of the $1 million prize pool.
New faces among the familiar
The roster of broadcast talent for ALGS Split 2 Playoffs 2024 consists of mostly familiar faces from last year, but there are a few new ones among them. See below for every creator and their creation platforms so you can familiarize yourself with their work.

- Rafael “DiA” Ruiz (Twitter, Twitch)
- Dan “Gaskin” Gaskin (Twitter, Twitch)
- Tiffany “Spidertiff” Jane (Twitter, Twitch)
- Kale “Genome” Morton (Twitter)
- Mark “Onset” Hatcher (Twitter, Twitch)
- Victoria “VikkiKitty” Perez (Twitter, Twitch)
- James “Jamerson” Lee (Twitter)
- Martin “Graceful” Wongphrom (Twitter, Twitch)
- Eric “Snip3down” Wrona (Twitter, Twitch)
- Thales “WeThePeople” Cesa (Twitter, Twitch)
Everyone in the list above will be a part of hosting the main stage or shoutcasting matches during the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs 2024. All of them do a great job of finding the most exciting parts of every match and showcasing them to fans, meaning you shouldn’t miss a thing whether you’re watching live in Germany or at home on a stream.
Over the years, ALGS has worked hard to get broadcasts up and running in multiple languages. This event has some of the most comprehensive coverage possible, with watch parties in five different languages: English, French, German, Portuguese, and Chinese. See below for a list of those hosting these watch parties.
- NiceWigg (Twitch, Twitter) and Greek (Twitch, Twitter)
- pOkiz (Twitch, Twitter)
- Oraxe (Twitch, Twitter) and Wisethug (Twitch, Twitter)
- Berbatow (Twitch, Twitter) and Krokoboss (Twitch, Twitter)
- Taaaao (Twitch)
These watch parties are essential so that those watching around the world can understand what’s happening without purely relying on gameplay. They also make ALGS a much more approachable series for those looking for a new esport to dip their toes into.
Developer Respawn Entertainment caused Apex Legends to have a fairly big wobble earlier in the year after proposing a new purchase model for the game’s Battle Pass. But Season 22 will be live when the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs 2024 take place, meaning the game will be in a completely different place.
Not only will the season change up how pros play at the event, but fans should feel better about the game because the Battle Pass system won’t be forcing them to spend real cash every few months. This will be a huge subject within the community when the event is ongoing, so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s acknowledged or addressed during it.
