Expanding on what we know about Alan Wake‘s episodic downloadable content — mostly just that it exists — Remedy managing director Matias Myllyrinne gave Joystiq some additional insight in a recent interview.
“I think it’ll depend a lot on the audience, but certainly we want to — if we’re successful — we want to do a large ‘Season 2,’ if you will, at some point,” he revealed. “Right now, I’m not allowed to say what we’re doing exactly this year.”
However, he was able to mention how the team is “going to have more than one episode come out this year.” Having unintentionally built Alan Wake up as this incredible thing in my mind, I kind of don’t want to think about the game until I am physically putting the disc in my Xbox 360. Same goes for DLC, too.
