Local Girl is a fairly long chapter that cranks up the combat for Saga while uncovering some of the mysteries she is investigating.

You’ll be exploring Watery, and through your interactions with others, you learn that reality is playing out as though past events that didn’t happen have, at least from Saga’s perspective. With this Alan Wake 2 guide, you’ll find all the collectibles in this chapter and defeat the dark forces that attack.

Meeting Alan Wake

The chapter begins with Saga and Alex meeting Alan Wake. The flooding that once blocked off significant chunks of Cauldron Lake has disappeared, which leaves you with more opportunities to find collectibles. You can grab them now or wait until Return 6: Scratch where you’re free to explore the entire map.

On your walk back to the Overlap, you will spot a manuscript page that doesn’t appear in Saga’s collectibles. There’s also a cult stash nearby with a code you crack by pressing the buttons on the lock in the same pattern they light up in.

Once you pass the overlap, head left to the Witchfinder’s Station and on a picnic table, you’ll find a letter that serves as a clue for your cult killings case. To the right of the picnic table, there’s a cult stash. While you’re here, point your flashlight at the trees around you and you’ll notice some of them have yellow arrows. Follow them and you’ll find a pair of keys you’ll need later.

I advise you to return to the Witch’s Hut to save before continuing. Following this, return to the parking lot and enter the car to return to Bright Falls. Here, you’ll chat with Alan Wake, which leads to the start of his first chapter.

That’s it for Local Girl for now. There’s no new Final Draft content. For more Alan Wake 2 content, visit the hub page with everything you need.
