Failed Bombing mission, explained
Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ is perhaps the most popular game mode that keeps players engaged with new missions and additions each season. While some factions come and go temporarily, like the Redacted faction in Season 4, others, such as the Black Mous faction, offer missions that stand the test of time. One of their Tier 4 missions is Failed Bombing.
Some civilians tried to blow up the statue in the Akhdar courtyard, but it didn’t work out as planned. The explosive is still there, and your job is to find and grab the defused charge from the Ahkdar Statue. Then, you need to gather some electrical components and a battery to rearm the charge at the Ashika Waterways dead drop. Once you’ve got it all armed and ready, drop off the rearmed charge at the Al Sharim Pass dead drop.
Feeling a bit lost? This guide has got your back and will show you the way forward.
Extract the defused charge from the Ahkdar Statue
To begin the mission, make your way to Akhdar Village, located just below the Al Sharim Pass POI on Al Mazrah. In the center of the village, you’ll find a courtyard with a large statue known as the Akhdar Statue. Your objective is to locate and extract the disarmed charge, which can be found near the statue’s feet. Just watch out for the AI Soldiers, as there’s quite a bunch of them guarding around. Carefully retrieve the charge and ensure a safe exfiltration from the area. That wraps up the first part of the mission, and you’re now ready to proceed to the next.
Rearm the charge
Now that you have the explosive safe in your possession, it’s time to rearm it. To do this, you need to acquire electrical components and a battery. These items are part of the random loot spawned on the map. If you already have them, that’s fantastic! If not, you can find them by searching toolboxes, shelves, tables, or any random spot on the map within a few minutes.
Once you have obtained these items, head towards the Waterways Dead Drop (Red marker on the map). This dumpster is situated directly below the Tsuki Castle within the Waterways. Look for the marked entrances (Yellow marker) to the waterways on the map. Once inside, drop all three items into the dead drop, and the charge will be rearmed. Finally, retrieve the live bomb and exfil safely.
Dead drop the rearmed charge to the Al Sharim Pass dead drop
Now, all that remains is to drop off the live charge at the Al Sharim Pass dead drop back on Al Mazrah. Proceed to the location indicated on the map above and securely deposit the live charge. Again, just try to avoid any encounters with AI Soldiers that could jeopardize the mission. Losing the bomb at this stage is not an option. Once you have successfully completed this step, you can consider the mission officially accomplished.
