Ah, there’s our Deep Down E3 2014 trailer

I was wondering when it’d hit

There was no mention of Deep Down during the free-to-play segment of Sony’s E3 press conference, much to our concern. The game is still alive and well, however — just not here in the West. Capcom hasn’t made any announcements yet, anyway.

All the same, we got a “new” E3 2014 trailer for the gorgeous PS4 action-RPG and, thing is, much of its footage is recycled from a prior video. Whatever! It’s good footage!

This week, a recent tweet by Capcom’s Japanese Twitter account for Deep Down stated “We apologize for the service other than in Japan is not yet determined.”

My interest in the game slipped once word got out that it’s free to play — and that (partial) future New York City setting thing is mighty odd — but I am still interested.
