Channel your Primal Culture

The new Primal Culture system allows players to channel an animal spirit that influences and shapes their empire both physically and spiritually. The Tome of Fey Mists and the Tome of Stormborne are two new Tomes of Magic added to the content pack, and include spells to conceal troops in shrouded magical fog and gain advantages over seas and shorelines.

In total, there are seven primal animals that the people of your empire can worship. New quests allow you to follow specific primal anima to earn unique rewards. Your people can even take on new physical forms in tune with the animals, including Lupine and Goatkin.

Also releasing alongside the Primal Fury content pack is the free Wolf Update. While Primal Fury is a paid content pack, the free Wolf Update will add new features and improvements for all players. In the Wolf Update, Necromancy has received a rework, new randomly generated items have been added, and War Bounties allow you to better direct your allies in conflicts.

Age of Wonders 4: Primal Fury releases on February 27 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $9.99. Players who purchased the Premium Edition or Expansion Pass will get access to the Primal Fury content pack at no additional cost.
